Led by a lifetime of experiences, Robert and Heather Rodriguez have created an organization that provides a dynamic environment for the advancement of Cybersecurity innovation.   They gain tremendous satisfaction when they see the introductions and relationships enabled during SINET events, dinners and workshops create the foundation for next generation security solutions.

Their backgrounds are uniquely suited to create a special community of security professionals.  Prior to founding SINET, Robert spent over twenty-two years as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service where he held a number of leadership roles within Executive Protection, Protective Intelligence and Criminal Investigations, including the creation of the first Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force on the West Coast.  As a Board member for high profile organizations including the SF Child Abuse Prevention Center, San Francisco Opera Guild and on the Board of Regents for Saint Mary’s College, Heather has gained the operational experience required to guide SINET to international prominence.

The worldwide success of SINET underscores that Cybersecurity is not only important to them, but it is equally vital to global security and worldwide economic interests.

SINET is a platform that connects the ecosystem of the entrepreneur; industry and Government buyers, venture capital, innovators, investment banking, system integration, policy, legal, academia and the science communities as well as the Federal Government’s civilian, military and intelligence agencies.

SINET hosts trusted Summits, Workshops and Public Private Partnership Dinners at the highest executive levels in; Paris, Singapore, Toronto, Silicon Valley, Scottsdale, London, Tokyo, Washington, D.C. and New York City.

Since 2001 Mr. Rodriguez has advised and coordinated the public – private sector outreach for The United States Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security, SRI International, Stanford University, United Kingdom Government; Cabinet and Digital Culture, Media and Sport Department, Australian Government DATA 61 & AustCyber, UNC Charlotte, The Department of Defense, United States Postal Service and The Department of Energy and has participated as a member of the US Air Force Cybersecurity Advisory Board.  He has been called upon numerous times by private industry and the Federal Government to help advise and build private sector outreach initiatives with corporations, the entrepreneurial and venture capital communities.

Previously, he served 22 years as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service where he held a number of executive leadership positions within the Presidential Protection, Protective Intelligence, Inspection and Criminal Investigation Divisions and the Counter Assault Team. His executive protection experience spanned 10 years at the White House serving Presidents Ronald W. Reagan, George H. Bush, William J. Clinton and numerous Heads of State. He serves on numerous Cybersecurity Advisory Boards and advises various governments on their private sector outreach strategies.
