SINET 16 Get Results

Interviews of CEOs from last year's Showcase indicated that the exposure their companies gained at the Showcase, augmented through SINET press releases and recommendations by SINET to third parties, generated important leads that resulted in sales contracts. These selected companies met channel partners and or technology partners that helped accelerate their penetration in the market. Participation in the process also helps companies to better present their ideas.

How it works:Emerging technology companies apply to a two stage evaluation and selection process overseen by the prestigious SINET Showcase Steering Committee. Sixteen of the most promising solution providers will be chosen to present their technologies on stage at the National Press Club on October 26th to key decision-makers. Companies interested in applying for the opportunity to be considered as one of the "SINET 16" can go directly to the online application form at http://www.security-innovation.org/showcase.htm.

Technology categories:While consideration will be given to all cyber security product categories, the technologies of greatest interest will generally address 1) critical infrastructure transport, such as firewalls, routers, switches; and 2) data and application-specific cyber technologies, including those for the Cloud, Web 2.0, and social networks. Other data, application, and transport layer categories of special interest include, but are not limited to: Mobility; Attribution; Protection of Physical Infrastructure from Cyber Attack; Network Forensics; and Situational Awareness Tools.
