Twenty Cybersecurity Innovators Tapped to Present Advances in Security Technologies during SINET Showcase 2010
High-Level Vetting Committee Chooses 20 Emerging Companies with Most Promising Technologies to Answer Cybersecurity Challenges
San Francisco, California (August 31, 2010) - The Security Innovation Network™ (SINET), an organization focused on advancing Cybersecurity innovation through public-private collaboration, will introduce twenty emerging companies that will present on stage during the SINET Showcase 2010 on October 27 in Washington, D.C. These twenty promising security solutions providers were chosen by committee of prominent technology industry leaders.
These twenty companies were identified following a two-step evaluation and selection process of more than 130 companies that applied for the opportunity to present their Cybersecurity solution at the SINET Showcase:

The twenty companies will each have nine minutes to present their value proposition on October 27 to an audience of representatives from the Federal government, private industry, system integration, research institutions, venture capital and investment banking communities. The companies will also be featured at exhibit stations.
"Our goal is to increase awareness of early stage and emerging growth companies that may meet the critical technology needs of the Federal civilian, defense and intelligence agencies and the commercial sector," explained Robert Rodriguez, Chairman and Founder of SINET. "Only the 'best-in-class’ Cybersecurity solutions will be able to advance the security field and stand up to the escalating challenges of defeating global security threats."
Other highlights of the SINET Showcase include:
- Closing keynote by General Keith B. Alexander, Director of the National Security Agency and Commander of the U.S. Cyber Command (DoD)
- Series of Workshops targeting challenges facing early stage and emerging growth companies
- Thought leaders from across major industries, government, academia and the venture capital and investment banking communities
The SINET Showcase will be held on October 27, with a half-day SINET Workshop on October 26, at the National Press Club, Washington, D.C.
