A SINET Emerging Company membership addresses key elements of what smaller, or early stage companies need to succeed in the marketplace. Our focus is on providing information and services that are critical to growth and success in the marketplace.

An Emerging Company membership provides access to the following services.

    The SINET Exchange

    The SINET Exchange is our proprietary approach to community building in the cyber security industry.   The Exchange is being built in collaboration with Jive Inc to serve as an information and collaboration nexus, one that enables the industry to establish and maintain multi-directional information flows that are critical to business success. 

    One element of the Exchange is a listing of firms participating in the cyber security marketplace – this contains information on over 1000 firms segregated by SINET’s own structure of product categories.  Are you a researcher looking for technologies?  Are you a start up firm looking for marketing partners, new ideas, and technology innovations?  It’s all here and updated continuously.

    Information on Funding Activities and Sources

    We know that there are numerous sources of investment funding for firms with new ideas and approaches in cyber security topics.  We track the angel investors as well as early stage venture firms who are active in investing in cyber security.   Through the connections we make at SINET events, we work with our emerging company members to assist them in finding investment capital.   

    Technology Partnering  

    Through the SINET Exchange, and through our new Academic/Research membership category, we actively monitor technology trends.  This enables us to provide connections to individuals who are looking for technology solutions as well as those who have developed new technologies and are looking for marketing partners.   This service will seek emulate the information exchange that occurs at SINET events, but do so on an ongoing basis. 

    Other Partnering opportunities

    Becoming a member enables your firm to showcase its cyber security products and capabilities to the rest of the SINET membership, as well as to individuals who turn to SINET as an industry and product information resource.   Your member listing will contain the information and key words that enable others to find you and your company as a participant in the evolving cyber ecosystem.
