David DeRuff has more than 20 years of investment banking experience, beginning his career at Morgan Stanley. He was a Managing Director at Montgomery Securities, where he spent over a decade of his career, and Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette, where he led their West Coast technology banking practice. He has completed well over 100 transactions for technology companies including mergers & acquisitions, public equity and private equity placements. David has particular expertise in the wireless, storage and electronics manufacturing services industries. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. David holds Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
David recently served as Chairman of the Estuary Boathouse Fund, a non-profit entity dedicated to building a new facility for the University of California Crew. David was also a Director of the San Francisco 2012 Olympic Bid and a member of the 1984 U.S. Olympic Team. |
