Brenda Campbell is a Contracting Officer and Team Leader in the Southwest Branch of the Acquisition & Property
Management Division of the Department of the Interior's National Business Center. Brenda's team primarily supports
the Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Directorate with Research and Development Contracting.
She spent several years working in the private sector where she led an international team of commodity managers
in negotiations of electronic component contracts for a Fortune 500 Company. Prior to that she spent time working
at the Pentagon working IT and R&D contracts for the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Brenda is a member of the
National Contract Management Association(NCMA) and holds a Certified Purchasing Manager(C.P.M.) designation
from the Institute for Supply Management(ISM).
