Advancing Innovation Through Collaboration
At the time I was VP of Defense Group, Northrop Grumman IT and attended the 2007 ITSEF. As a result of the forum, I invited 12 emerging companies to Washington DC and ended up working with five of them. I am now President, Defense Systems Group, ManTech International Corporation and we are initiating a major cyber business campaign. At the conference I will be looking for emerging companies who have leading edge technologies and services that are differentiators in a very competitive market.

The Security Innovation Network (SINET) was built for the United States security community and it's allies to attain a unity of purpose, thought and voice as a national security priority in maintaining the advantage of innovation over our adversaries in cyberspace. The need for our nation to innovate faster is becoming more apparent and the time is now to accelerate the search and implementation of "best of class" solutions that are being overlooked. The SINET - IT Security Entrepreneurs' Forums' are designed to "Bridge the Gap", promote small business growth and increase awareness of innovative technologies from across North America. SINET is supported by the Department of Homeland Security - Science & Technology as well as corporate and public sponsorships.
Do not miss this rare opportunity to listen to subject matter experts discuss IT security market trends, needs, requirements, processes and investment opportunities:
- Increase awareness of "best of class" solutions that will lead to quicker technology transition into our nation's operating systems
- Provide education, awareness, and social networking that will "bridge the gap" between Federal Agencies, system integrators, private industry, innovators, venture capital, policy makers, academics and scientists
- Level the playing field by raising awareness off all emerging companies to the investment, government and industry markets
- Learn about emerging hot topics, opportunities, market trends and critical needs in the IT security space
To increase the educational opportunities found at ITSEF, we are implementing an optional pre-forum workshop day on March 16, 2010. This half-day of workshops will be put on by Federal Government and private industry subject matter experts and is designed for early stage and emerging companies who desire to partner with the Federal Government. The workshops will be presented through two tracks that will provide invaluable specific insight on a broad spectrum of relevant topics including special Federal contracting and research programs, obtaining grants or advance contracts, getting security products evaluated, and how to streamline the procurement and acquisition processes.
All attendees of ITSEF IV go through a vetting process to insure the proper audience. You MUST apply to attend in order to be one of our selected participants.
