Willis Janssen

Mr. Will Janssen is the Chief of the Systems and Network Analysis Center (SNAC) in the Vulnerability Analysis and Operations Group of the Information Assurance Directorate at the National Security Agency. The SNAC provides guidance to customers on how best to protect their information systems from technical penetration.

Mr. Janssen joined the National Security Agency in 1987 as an Electrical Engineer. He has served as a project leader and line manager in a variety of technical organizations within NSA since that time. His most recent assignment was as the Chief of the Security Technology and Engineering Office which was responsible for supporting the technology needs of the Associate Director of Security and Counterintelligence. Other than NSA, Mr. Janssen was in the USAF for 12 years, worked in Capital One Bank's Information Security Organization, and was the Technical Director for Information Operations at the Physical Science Laboratory at New Mexico State University.

Mr. Janssen has a Masters Degree from the National Defense University (NDU), a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Science from Southwest Minnesota University.
