Nick Shevelyov

Nick Shevelyov is the CSO for SVB Financial Group, the parent company of Silicon Valley Bank. His areas of responsibility include information security governance, computer security incident response, data privacy, physical security and business continuity management. Prior to joining SVB, Shevelyov was managing security and data privacy projects at Deloitte & Touche where he specialized in the technology and financial services industries. During his time in consulting, projects included developing security, risk and privacy programs as well as global credit card processing strategies. Earlier in his career, Shevelyov managed information technology departments and consulted on information security related projects with U.S. government entities and private industry organizations focused on mergers and acquisitions. He has been a guest speaker at security events and holds a variety of certifications and degrees including a Masters in Business Administration.
